Sung writes:
That's me, in a place I never thought I'd find myself -- Doha, Qatar, at one of their souqs, a marketplace. I was there with my wife in January to watch Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal play tennis, spend time with friends, and encounter a Muslim culture in transition. That night, I ate a baby camel (which tasted not like chicken but rather pot roast), smoked shisha (flavored tobacco), and discussed soccer with an old Qatari gentleman. It's a time I won't soon forget.
Besides my exotic travels, I'm still working on my second novel. At this point, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, which is a good thing, because this has been a marathon and I'm tired of mixing metaphors.
